Manipuri refers to Manipur, a place in India where this style bowl is said to have originated.

Their walls are lower in ratio to the diameter, with a gradually sloping base. Typically, they range from approximately 4" to 10", and their tones range from the second to fifth octaves.  These small bowls are typical for having deeper tones than much larger ones.

A striker is included with each bowl purchase.
