This image is one of many photographs taken of temple art while visiting Thailand. I experienced the greatest sense of reverence while wandering through an informal garden filled with weathered terra cotta replicas of Southeast Asian art. Upon returning home, these faces of the sacred quickly found their way into my own art.

I have recreated them as archival prints in sepia tones which have been varnished onto pieces of hammered and hand-patinaed copper. They're perfect for contemplative use in a personal altar or as a decorative accent in the home.
