Hand formed and Raku fired, this turtle is a unique small ceramic sculpture that has been inspired by Asian Art and Southwest Native fetishes. During the raku process this turtle has been taken red-hot from the kiln and smoked in a container of whole oats. This process blackens the crackels and any unglazed areas. |
